Happy Chinese New Year to you Cathy! I'm surprised it was hard to find pussy willows...I keep meaning to plant some in my garden so I will have some in the spring but never remember...but your decorated tree is lovely!

Happy Chinese New Year to you too! I am sure you are missing all the celebrations...can only imagine how elaborate they are there. The Cambodians celebrate as well and here in the village several of the families have decorations, but I'm hearing they all burned the fake money for a prosperous new year! I've been reading about the year of the monkey - my year - and once I learned that I needed to lie low this year...I stopped reading ha ha! Great post...adore pussy willows too...didn't realize they would be so hard to find. My dad sent me a big bunch years ago from our farm...so I guess I should feel lucky to have those! Wonderful post...thanks for sharing!

Kathy

I think you told me I am the year of the sheep. What is the flower??

I really enjoy seeing the pictures of your decorated pussy willow tree. Is this a tradition for Chinese new year?

Thank you Cathy for your Chinese New Year wishes, I'm sending my best wishes back to you for a happy, healthy and prosperous year of the Monkey... it's not my sign neither, I'm ox! There were parades in Paris China town but I didn't see them... I've just linked my site to Kim's new class about textures and I saw you subscribed to the same class, happy to see you there! I've always loved textures and I hope to learn something new about them...
