Baguio, Philippines
"City of Pines"
Okay, for those of you experiencing snow this week - the colors of spring are not coming into focus!
A charming area, Baguio City is located 155 miles north of Manila. High in the Cordillera Mountain Ranges (5,000 feet above sea level), it is a popular resort area for both locals and tourists to escape the heat.
It is commonly referred to as "the summer capital of the Philippines" or the "city of pines".
Textured with Kim's 312.
What did you texture this week?
Gorgeous ~

Lovely work. We're not experiencing the heavy snows here, but spring has a way to go before it appears.

This is beautiful, really breathtaking. Even in winter, I'm dreaming of springtime.

Wonderful. A very interesting pinecone structure. My visit in the early 1960's was confined to Manila.

Once again I have learned something new and never would have expected there to be pine trees in the Philippines.
