It rained the entire time we were in Alsace for the Christmas Markets so I did not get any photos of the markets. I was able to get several of the beautiful windows decorations. As you will see in the photos, they go all out in decorating the windows for Christmas. To read more about this trip, stop by our travel blog - Donald and Cathy's World Adventure.
This area is famous for their pretzels.
This display counts down the 25 days til Christmas.
The following are less whimsical - more traditional, but equally as beautiful.
This one is so simple - but I loved it with the traditional timbers showing and the white washed shutter.
Notice how they even hang the curtains on the outside as part of of the decoration.
All the little villages in the area exude Christmas spirit! Visiting will certainly put you in the Christmas mood!
Oh, they are all so pretty and beautifully decorated for the Holidays. :) Thanks for sharing!
Happy Holidays to you and yours.

What a great post! This is so different from our decoration here. It is wonderful to have a peek in that world. I am amazed about all the stuffed animals outdoors. Ha! I wonder what they would think of our twinkle-light deer!
