May today be an extra sweet day...

a valentine's themed art day

I mentioned before about Tuesday art day with the ladies. This past Tuesday it was my turn to host so I put out Valentine's day supplies for us to play with.

There was a little station of goodies for each of us.

They said it looked like they were coming to a class.

Oops... there was a get well stamp in there as I needed to make one card for a sick friend.

I told the hubby I wish I was my friend -

with such fun art supplies : )

What I created...

I picked up this little owl at Michael's when I was in the states at Christmas - LOVE HIM!

I am really into the joss paper right now. I have been transfering it onto paper using glue sticks.

Ohmygosh girl! You do know how to throw a Valentine's themed art day. Your friends must have felt very special and pampered! Love all of your creations.

Now that's what I call a party!!
Happy belated Valentines Day! I spent mine sick in bed with the flu but I'm slowly on the mend now and making my way around to catch up with everybody.
